It’s no secret that the DC villainess Harley Quinn has been the break-out star of the DC movie universe since the movie Suicide Squad hit theaters back in 2016. There are already rumors for a Harley Quinn spin-off movie, and she seems to be the main focus of Gotham City Sirens, a movie also rumored to be in the works.

Deadline broke the news that the upcoming Warner Bros’ DC-branded digital service platform has ordered 26 glorious episodes of half-hour adult animated action-comedy series Harely Quinn, executive produced by the team that brought you the show Powerless–Justin Halpern, Patrick Schumaker and Dean Lorey.

Harley Quinn also plans to feature the villainess, Posion Ivy which will be a treat for fans that have always enjoyed the Harley/Ivy team up. The show also plans to feature a heavy line-up of heroes and villains, old and new all from the DC Universe.

Harley Quinn is the third series to be green lit for the new DC digital platform joining the live-action Titans and the revival of the hit cartoon show–Young Justice.

The series is set to be centered around Harley and her life after finally calling it quits with The Joker.
